EARNING BALBOA!

Someone said it right: when you are busy, you tend to find something to distract you from work. That’s what happened with me, when I had my exams, started this silly blog of mine and when vacations started never found the mood to write even a single blog in months! So life has gone through many twists and turns since then....

First of all I am desperate to tell that all the late night studies, maggi and my lucky pen did wonders for me, I scored 61.5% in my 1^st year exams!!! For some of you it might be very less and everything. But for me its like 90%, I got more than 60% just twice in my life, so you should better understand now how fucking happy am I!!

So because I scored so well my mom was extremely happy, she asked me more than 10 times to check the result again and again. She had promised me if I score more than 60% she would never say me what should I do with my life and would let me do Mass communication out of Chandigarh. I was extremely happy because from now on no chik chik!!

One fine day I was sitting and watching T.V. and some advertisement came on T.V. of some fancy bike and my mom said to me you know what you should get a bike for yourself, and I was like yeah sure mom I don’t even have money to buy a nice pair of shoes and then those words out of her mouth just shook my world for a while she said ‘I’ll gift you a bike on your b’day’ and that was the time when I hugged her tightly and suddenly all my love for my mum in my heart rose up instantly! My b’day was next week so I was very excited and I had decided that which bike to buy ‘FZ16’ so next day went to showroom with mum and mamu and booked the bike, I wanted black color and they were not having the color black so I had to wait for  a week more. Days went like years after booking the bike, bought helmet, dog tog and all other accessories. I was thinking day and night for for bike’s name but nothing popped up. Sometimes I used to think that I should buy my first bike with my own money but it will take years then it occurred to me that I need a girlfriend in 2^nd year so that very moment I dropped plan of buying it with my own money. On 16^th July I got a call from Yamaha showroom and the manager said ‘Sir YOUR bike has arrived, you may collect it’ Maan mein laddu phuta!! But mum wanted me to take the bike two days later on my b’day, so I took two pieces of paper and wrote ‘yes’ and ‘no’ in it, folded it and closed my eyes and picked one, I had promised myself whatever the result may come I’ll stick to it, no crying for best out of three. I always do it in dicey situation. So I opened the chit and it read YES! The next minute I realise I was in the Yamaha showroom with all my accessories! The moment I saw that black shinny beast waiting for me to ride it and very moment it occurred to me I am gonna name this mean machine ‘BALBOA’ as I am a huge Rocky Balboa fan. That feeling of owning a personal vehicle, I felt that on that day. Incredible it was!

Roller coaster expedition!!

I know it's been a long time I haven't written a blog. And I'm sorry! Yes I am!

It was a roller coaster vacation for me. Been through a lot!

Things which kept me busy were movies, novels, shifting house and hospital.

The day the last exam got over, I made a pact with myself to watch every movie be it a C grade one. And my trustworthy companion in this movement was Navdeep. Because of the fucking hot weather I had to stay inside the house till evening and thoughts like what will I do with my life?? popped up in my mind, difficult phase of life, eh? My day started after 8 pm movies, dinners, house parties (clubbing sucks! Banging into each other while dancing with gallons of sweat!)

Coming to novels, I have decided to read 6 novels in these vacations. So I went to this new mall opened up in Chandigarh 'Elante mall', 'Atlanta mall' for some. I went to the bookstore and browsed number of novels and checked the price and came back home ordered it from flipkart.com some of which are Unaccustomed earth, A train to Pakistan, Another chance, Save the Dorks.

I had to move to a new place because the landlord's son wanted to separate from the family and wanted the entire house by himself. What a BITCH! Me and mom are planning to buy a new apartment but that will take 5-6 months so for the time being we shifted to another house as tenants. The new house is better and bigger than the last one. I thought I was emotionally attached to the previous house and would feel low leaving the area but nothing what I thought happened. New place, new beginning.

This one day me and Ajay were talking some serious deep shit and suddenly I asked him 'piercing karwani hai kya??' And within a fraction of second he agreed. It took us hours to decide to which jeweler we should go to get our ear pierced so as to get the best piercing. The next morning we landed up at a jewelry shop and asked the owner about the rates and decided to get it done. I went first, my heart was beating like Travis Barker drum because people said it's gonna pain a lot! I sat for 10 seconds and waited for the guy to dig a hole in my ear and just when I was thinking whether to stop him from doing that he said 'it's done, get up' and I was like 'are you sure?' It didn't pain a bit! Wohhoo!

And after leaving the shop the walk to the car was one hell of a SWAGGER walk, I felt more manly!

This one evening I was sitting on the porch and listening to 'I will survive' by  Gloria Gaynor and Nani called me and asked me to come ASAP without asking anything I reached her place where I spent 11 years of my life. Rushed to her and asked what the problem was. She told that Mamu is suffering from high fever and his face has turned pale. We rushed him to the hospital after testing by the Doctors reports came and it said he had jaundice. It was shocking because he had jaundice 6 months ago too and he survived that. So doctors admitted him and kept under observation.It's been three days he's in hospital.

And here I am sitting beside him in the hospital and writing the blog on my blackberry just like the way E.L. James wrote '50 shades of Grey' on her blackberry while travelling to work. It's 4:30 am and I am trying hard not to doze off! It's very painful to see some related to you in agony! I hope he gets well!

Got a lot of comments from friends and readers regarding the blog that I write random things and don't stick to one topic, readers will not like the blog and all. Guys I respect your comments but I'm here to express not to impress.

A drunken Evening!!

Sorry guys haven't written a blog for a long time because of exams, though one exam is still left! Never ending exams!!
So, in this blog i'm gonna tell you guys about a one hell of a day with my mates Ajay and Arjun, this happened probably 2-3 months ago.
So we guys met each other around 6 p.m. and decide to get drunk and celebrate Saturday!  There's this awesome place near by it's basically a railway track where people go in search of nirvana and eternal peace. It was around a kilometer away from where we were. So we plan to walk till there. Started walking and calculating the budget. We cross by a tavern and picked up some bottles of beer, cigarettes and chips. We reach railway track in the next 5 minutes. The weather was a little chilly, wind blowing by, in short it was perfect!

Opened the beer bottles and cheers!! Light a cigarette too. In some time our cerebellum got a little dizzy and intellectual shit starts (alcohol does that to you). We decide to make a pact and plan to quit smoking that very day and light the last cigarette and share it. And we keep the bottle cap of the beer  so that it reminds us to not to smoke again. Silly! 

The next moment we heard something, the track started to shake and some light started coming towards us, it was a train! We get up and Ajay shouts in excitement and says let's do Gangnam style continuously till the train passes by!! Everyone prepared! Train reaches near us and we fucking dumbbells start singing rather shouting "Oppan Gangnam Style Gangnam Style" and started doing the exclusive step, I bet we did it better than Psy! As the train passes by we started laughing out loud and die laughing for the next 15 minutes!! We finish all the bottles and get up to go back to eat something, we were famished! 
We cross this nice soup stall in the market and got the bowl for each one of us. It was zestful!!!

Earlier that day we were discussing about eyebrow piercing and someone (was stoned, forgot who's idea was that) comes up with with the idea of getting eyebrow pierce that very moment! There is a glint in our eyes and we were thinking the same thing! Telepathy!!
It was around 9 p.m. and we start searching for piercing shop, walked around 2 kms just for the damn shop!!
I called up every friend of mine to inquire about any shops nearby but alas the aim for the evening failed because it was late and no shop was open. There was dolefulness all over!! 
But, we promised each other to do it the next day, we knew we were just satisfying each other by saying that and no surprises that day never came! And after 9 days the beer bottle caps were also tossed away!
But all in all it was one of the best days of my life!!

A doggy tale!

So the next day I have my E.V.S exam. We're suppose to give it once in 3 years but I intend to give it this year just to get fucking free fund ki tension out of my head! So again I go back to my second home which is Harsh's place. The same schedule Maggi and studies.
The next morning we woke up late at 8:34 a.m. and get into the car by 8:40 a.m. Yeah I can stay without taking bath. The record which I made in my school summer vacations was of 13 days without bathing!! Beat this! We reach our classes by 9:30 am, we were late! Question paper had MCQs in it, the oldest trick in the book, choosing the option where the finger stops but this time instead of singing songs, I was counting the number of alphabets in names of all the hot chicks in the college! Exam went fine.
So Me, Shina, Rajat and Era had already planned to go out for lunch after the exam. For a long time we have been teasing Rajat and Shina and that particular day, I don't know whether  it was a coincidence or pre-planned both of them wore exactly the same colors. Black tee, brown trousers and black shoes!! HAHAH!! It was going to be a day with high amount of leg pulling....
Before going to lunch we went to Shina's place for some work. There I accomplished one of the biggest mission of my life to dematerialize  Dog phobia!! Just for the record I had this huge phobia from dogs even the Vodafone dog, whenever I passed a dog I had this burning sensation in my body. So I met TUM TUM (shina's dog), first time ever in my life I touched a dog and within few moments the fear expires!!  YEAH!! WOOHHOO!!
P.S. Rajat is shit scared of dogs!!

So we get into the car and decide where to go for lunch, it took us 20 long minutes just to decide where to EAT! I suggested this place where one can get the best soup in Chandigarh, the place is called Tawa. We reached and ordered Wonton soup and the rest of the course meal. After eating our food we plan to go to Softy Corner it also has the best softies in Chandigarh! YUMM! On the way to sector-17, I don't know how I conjure up Sunny Leone's pole dance in BIGG BOSS on the song 'Yeh mera deewanapan' and that very moment a fantasy snaps in my head that 'if'' I'll ever have a girlfriend  I would really appreciate it if she does the same for me!
We reach sector-17, went to Softy corner and ordered our softies and waited. Awesome Sauce softy arrives and I look at it and I plan to rape it! I fail to understand why on this beautiful earth, girls have a thing for photography that to anywhere and for that matter even in a bathroom. We touched every path of sector-17 in search of good light for the photographs, at last we get it and we clicked some good number of photos, Era having her patent smile in every photo. Altogether, it was a pleasurable day!

Mixed Feelings.!

So after writing the previous blog before hitting the 'PUBLISH' button, I felt apprehensive but after thinking for around 2 minutes what would be the people's and especially my ex-girlfriend's reaction I hit 'PUBLISH'!!!
Then anxiously waiting for 5 minutes, I refresh to check the views, not even 1 view then I realize that people don't know about the blog. Thinking what to do to make the blog popular a thought passes through my mind that this is the right time to use Mark Zuckerbeg's invention. So I log in into my Facebook account and share blog's link. Waiting waiting waiting...... now I felt restless, I click on pageviews and YIPIEE!!! 2 views. I was happy! It was 8 a.m. and I dozed off!! 
I woke up around 1 p.m. and realized that I have a blog now, rushed to the laptop, logged in the username and clicked pageviews still 2 views I was sad :( Then realization struck me that I'm not here to impress; I'm here to express! I plan to turn off the laptop and study.
My brain was cooking Advertising techniques, but I told myself not to do it and 5 minutes later I end up texting 50 people about the blog!! :P

Next Day:
Harsh called up to inquire about the English exam's preparation and both of us were all set to fail so we decided to study together. I reached his place by 6 p.m. and we had Maggi and juice and then we started studying. Continuously studying for 3-4 hours made me sick, I needed fresh air so went for walk or I should rather say I went for a smoke! Studied till 2:30 a.m., solved 4-5 sample papers. We set alarm on both of our phones and went to sleep.....!

Exam day:
We reach 30 minutes before exam time and wait for gates to open, I saw this amazing pilot pen in harsh's hand, my brain says me that "If you want to pass, write with this pen". So I ask harsh for the pen but that was his 'LUCKY PEN'!! He refuses to give. Then I rush to the nearest market for the pen but I didn't get it there, so just because of the stupid idea my brain popped out that I had to write with that pen. After driving 2 km more I finally get the pen and I sigh.! 
I enter the college gate after showing my roll number to the obese gatekeeper I start searching for my roll number on notice board but I don't find it and I get a  thought that college authorities must have blacklisted me! I check all the class rooms but my roll number is nowhere. I ran towards a teacher to ask that where am I suppose to sit?? She asks me to check another notice board which was in the other block. I run towards the B.COM block notice board (I felt like Shah Rukh Khan when he was running behind Sunil Shetty in 'Main Hoon Na') and yes!! No one has blacklisted me! I enter the class and the answer booklet is distributed and then the question paper. I give the question paper a good reading as said by Mom. I feel happy and excited because I know the literature part very well and because of the excitement, I went with the flow and exceeded the word limit! Completed the paper 10 minutes before but I have this superstition that if I will sit full 3 hours then I'll pass, so I had to sit. The exam went well! 

Frightening EXAMS!!!

I'm a guy next door with high aims! But still finding that 'it' in life. Emotionally attacked a lot of times, still donot know how to deal with it. I have had 3 relationships till now which went not so good, love to try new things for that matter anything! Music is my oxygen! Can't live without my mom:)

Studying B.A. with journalism 1st year. 

So here i go with my first ever blog.... Blog might have many grammatical errors. So please bear with me!!
Yeah Yeah Yeah!! I managed to take out time to write a silly blog just before my exams are starting, I get these kind of ideas just before exams, everyone does. So if I start telling you about the preparations it's not going the way I planned it. The first exam is of General English on 3rd April and I haven't opened the book yet. Yes I know in English you don't need to study to pass the exam. But this time I'm planning to score well so that in the next session I'm qualified enough to opt for English Honors. So I have 3 days for studying English as earlier I was studying others subjects like psychology, advertising and elective english. Whenever I open the textbook I land myself in some imaginary world of random thoughts like today when I was preparing for elective english, 15 mins later I found myself saving Megan Fox's life in some action film. I don't realize when I enter the island of weird and random thoughts which is fascinating sometimes. So it's 4:15 am and I feel sleepy but I'm excited about this blog of mine and I'm already thinking on how to promote this blog. I'm not much of a night person though I'm afraid that writing blogs might change me into one. This is all for today!! Do give me your feedback.
